June 25th UABRA Meeting
UAB President Ray Watts is the featured speaker for the Tuesday, June 25th meeting of the UAB Retirees' Association in the Homewood Library at 1:30 p.m. The UAB Retirees' Association membership currently includes nearly 600 dues paying UAB retirees. UABRA meets several times a year. It serves as a support group for UAB retirees. It funds various UAB projects such as equipment for UAB's Spain Rehabilitation Center and a Family Meditation Room at SRC being planned. The group will announce a gift for two UABRA student scholarships at the June 25th meeting. UAB retirees and current faculty and staff are invited to attend.
